Matt LeBeau began his career as a Grocery Specialist at Loblaws – Zehrs, overseeing planograms, seasonal merchandizing, and new store setups for 61 stores. He then served as VP Sales & Marketing at Puresource, leading the company through substantial growth to reach $50 million in revenue. LeBeau established a Calgary distribution center and acquired Himex Import-Export & Les Aliments Inari for strategic market entry. Later, as National Director, Business Development at SunOpta, he managed business development and collaborated on integration and growth projects. In January 2010, Matt LeBeau founded LeBeau Excel Ltd., a Sales & Marketing firm specializing in Natural & Organic Food Manufacturers, NHP brands, and Natural & Organic HABA companies, providing expertise and execution in the Canadian market.

Matt’s Volunteer Work

As a Board Member in Plant-Based Foods of Canada, Matt LeBeau volunteers to promote plant-based foods across the industry, government, and among consumers. He actively participates in the Mentorship Committee, aiding new and growing entrepreneurs by providing resources for success. Additionally, as the Board Chair of the Organic Council of Canada, Matt serves as Ontario’s representative to the Provincial and Federal Governments, advocating for the organic industry. Committed to giving back, he believes in contributing to the industry that shaped his career.
